Stallion Stud Info:
Breeding contracts vary from stallion to stallion. Please email us for more information on one or more of our "Boys".
We offer shipped fresh cooled semen. Mare boarding and care is available on a strictly limited basis. We strongly recommend that if possible due to location and logistics, you take your mare to our collection vet, who specializes in repro work. The cost is very reasonable and as the semen is collected from our stallion and deposited directly and immediately into your mare, it assures the very best chance for a successful pregnancy on the first go.

Foals:
Dragonfly
Our 2005 colt out of the incomparable Firefly and by our own Saxon. Dragonfly is the very epitome of what a well done crossbreeding can produce. He shows the very best of both breeds; the endurance, surefootedness, intelligence and hardiness of the Arabian, combined with the affectionate and calm nature, and flashy beauty and movement of the Friesian. We are exceptionally proud of this little guy, and know he will one day make us very proud. Looking for a dressage prospect? Here's your guy. He is eligible for registration with either the Arabian registry as a half Arab or the Friesian sporthorse registries. He is for sale for $7000. Price just reduced for a quick sale!! You can get this magnificent colt, and future dressage prospect for a shockingly low $5500!!!
At three months.
At eight months, getting that gangly colt look, but still with that gorgeous movement and what a striking color he is turning!

With almost a decade of experience with the Friesian breed, we can help you locate your perfect Friesian horse.
Two new super geldings here in the U.S. Meet Draak and Voltaire...
Draak
In the annals of conicidental stories, Jacqueline watched this horse grow up. He was boarded at the same mountain pasture where she pastured her own young horses. Draak was and still is a sweet, darling boy. He loves peppermints and animal crackers and will drink from a hose--typical Friesian charmer! He is registered with the FPS and was second premie as a foal, but was not kuered as a three year old. He has been under saddle since age three, has been ridden extensively on trails, and has four months dressage training under his belt. He has lovely ground manners, and is well broke, but he is energetic and is not for a novice. Intermediate should be fine though. Draak should make a fabulous show mount in dressage as his movement is more extended and floaty as opposed to the very high knee action of many Friesians. Just look at that sweet, curious face!
Offered for sale at $22,500. Please contact us for more information jacqueline@toadstoolfarm.com
Voltaire
Voltaire is being offered by Toadstool Farm for sale on commission. He is staying with us here at the Farm till he finds his new home, so we've had a lot of time to get to know this lovely gentleman. Eight years old and recently gelded, he is currently owned by a 16 year old girl who adores him but has jumping in her blood and needs a more suitable mount for that activity. Mom says she can only have one...so lucky us, we get to love on him till he finds his very own new person. In the short time he has been here at the Farm we've really fallen for this kind, sweet horse. He has a good amount of training on him, and is very mellow. Given a few more months to let the effects of his gelding ( which took place in May, 2006) take root, he should be pretty easily handled by most any experience level. He is a big boy though, very baroque, so would be best for someone with at least some basic horsemanship skills, or the strength to learn on a large horse. He is registered with the FHS and was first premie as a stallion. If you are looking for a big, pretty, baroque Friesian with lots of hair and romantic looks, a horse you can have a lifetime relationship with and feel safe around, Voltaire is your guy.
Offered for sale at $25,000. Please contact us for more information
