Dickens Fair

Every Winter the denizens of San Francisco get to travel back in time to London England, circa, 1850's.  Charles Dickens London comes alive for four wonderful magical weeks, complete with oliver Twist, Bill Sykes, Fagin, Scrooge and his ghosts and all the rest. Jacqueline added this show to her roster this year, and created the first ever Toadstool Farm traveling cart, with the help of her friend Joel.   For those of you who did not get to visit, here is a peak at this newest addition to Jacqueline's many homes away from home.

Here is the cart as seen from the right. The lattice roof lets light in and also acts as a framework for a solid roof should the need ever erise for one.

From the front.  You can see the Toadstool Farm Art sign, our amber lights set in smoky glass domes,  and the wrought iron trellises we attached to either corner to display hanging prints from.

Jacqueline at the cart in one of her Victorian costumes. This one features a black siulk velvet skirt and a black cotton high necked blouse.  She completes it with two dark red silk flowers in hr hair ( barely seen at the back of her head in this light) and a crinoline under her skirt.
